아산시(시장 오세현)가 올해 사회복지 분야 평가에서 5개 부문 우수 지자체로 선정됐다. 시는 연말 기초생활보장 부문 수상까지 기대하며 총 6개 부문 석권을 목표로 한다.
아산시가 수상한 부문은 △지역사회보장계획 최우수 △희망복지지원단 운영 최우수 △찾아가는 보건복지서비스 우수 △지역사회보장협의체 전국대회 우수사례 장려 △지역자활센터 운영 최우수이다.
지역사회보장계획 평가에서 아산시는 2018년부터 7년 연속 우수 지자체로 선정됐고, 2021년 대상에 이어 올해는 최우수상을 받았다.
희망복지지원단 운영 부문에서도 최우수상을 수상했다. 시는 정신과 전문의, 변호사, 경찰, 금융전문가 등으로 구성된 솔루션위원회 운영과 현장 슈퍼바이저 확충, 종사자 심리지원 프로그램 운영을 통해 위기가구 대응 실효성을 높였다.

찾아가는 보건복지서비스 평가에서 우수상을 획득했다. 시는 17개 읍면동 모두에 찾아가는 보건복지팀을 설치하고 간호직 공무원 14명을 배치했다. 올해 방문상담 3,193건, 복지 사각지대 발굴 5,900건, 서비스 연계 3만 3,868건을 처리했다.
지역자활센터 운영 평가에서 최우수 표창을 받았다. 시는 현재 13개 자활사업단과 3개 자활기업을 운영 중이며, 통밀빵 제과사업, 애견수제간식 온라인 판매 등으로 일자리를 확대하고 있다.
특히 아산시는 지역복지사업 평가에서 2013년부터 13년 연속 보건복지부 장관상을 받고 있다.
오세현 시장은 "지역사회 특성과 주민 수요를 반영한 현장 중심 복지정책이 결실을 거두고 있다"며 "복지 사각지대 해소와 복지 격차 없는 행복 도시 아산을 만드는 데 최선을 다하겠다"고 밝혔다.

Asan City (Mayor Oh Se-hyun) was selected as an exemplary local government in 5 categories in the social welfare field evaluation this year. The city aims to win in a total of 6 categories, anticipating additional awards in the Basic Living Security category announced at year-end.
Asan City won awards in the following categories: △Regional Social Security Plan Excellence Award △Hope Welfare Support Unit Operation Excellence Award △Visiting Public Health and Welfare Services Excellence Award △Regional Social Security Council National Conference Outstanding Case Encouragement Award △Local Self-Reliance Center Operation Excellence Award.
In the Regional Social Security Plan evaluation, Asan City has been selected as an exemplary local government for 7 consecutive years since 2018. Following the Grand Prize in 2021, the city received the Excellence Award this year.
The city received the Excellence Award in the Hope Welfare Support Unit Operation category. Asan City enhanced the effectiveness of crisis household response through operating a Solution Committee composed of psychiatrists, lawyers, police officers, and financial experts, expanding on-site supervisors, operating psychological support programs for workers, and creating welfare resource guidebooks.
The city earned the Excellence Award in the Visiting Public Health and Welfare Services evaluation. Asan City established Visiting Public Health and Welfare Teams in all 17 eup·myeon·dong divisions and deployed 14 nursing civil servants. This year, the city processed 3,193 visits for consultation, discovered 5,900 welfare blind spots, and connected 33,868 service cases.
The Local Self-Reliance Center received an Excellence Award. The city currently operates 13 self-reliance business divisions and 3 self-reliance enterprises. It is expanding job opportunities through whole wheat bread baking businesses and handmade dog treat online sales.
Notably, Asan City has received the Minister of Health and Welfare Award for 13 consecutive years in the local welfare project evaluation since 2013.
Mayor Oh Se-hyun said, "Field-oriented welfare policies reflecting the characteristics of the local community and residents' needs are bearing fruit. We will do our best to eliminate welfare blind spots and create a happy Asan City with no gaps in welfare benefits."
