기상청이 16일(화) 전국에 흐린 날씨가 예상된다고 발표했다. 수도권과 강원 내륙·산지, 충청 북부에는 약한 비가 내린다.
기상청은 "새벽부터 경기 북부 및 남동부에 비 또는 눈이 내리고, 오전부터 서울·인천, 경기 남서부, 충청 북부에 비 또는 눈이 내리는 곳이 있다"고 예보했다.
예상 강수량은 서울·인천·경기 1㎜ 안팎, 강원 중·남부 내륙·산지 5㎜ 미만, 강원 북부 내륙·산지 1㎜ 안팎, 충남 북부와 충북 중·북부 1㎜ 안팎이다.
기온은 평년(아침 최저기온 -9~2도, 낮 최고기온 2~10도)보다 높다. 16일 아침 최저기온 -4~5도, 낮 최고기온 5~14도로 예측된다.
주요 지역 아침 최저기온은 서울 3도, 인천 5도, 수원 2도, 춘천 -2도, 강릉 5도, 청주 2도, 대전 2도, 전주 2도, 광주 2도, 대구 -1도, 부산 4도, 제주 8도다.
낮 최고기온은 서울 8도, 인천 9도, 수원 9도, 춘천 5도, 강릉 11도, 청주 11도, 대전 12도, 전주 12도, 광주 13도, 대구 12도, 부산 14도, 제주 17도로 전망된다.
중부 내륙과 남부 높은 산지는 빙판길과 도로 살얼음이 다수 나타날 것으로 예상된다. 기상청은 교통안전 유의를 당부했다.
대전·세종·충남 지역은 대체로 흐리고 오후부터 곳곳에 0.1㎜ 미만의 빗방울이 떨어진다. 이로 인해 가시거리가 짧아지고 도로 살얼음이 발생할 수 있다.
대전기상청에 따르면 충남권은 서해북부해상에서 동해상으로 이동하는 기압골의 영향을 받는다. 지역별 아침 최저기온은 금산 -1도, 천안·공주·계룡·논산·부여 0도, 세종·서천·청양 1도, 대전·아산·당진·예산·홍성 2도, 서산 3도, 태안 4도, 보령 5도다.
낮 최고기온은 천안·아산·당진·태안 10도, 세종·서산·공주·계룡·금산·예산·청양 11도, 대전·논산·보령·부여·서천·홍성 12도로 예상된다.
국립환경과학원은 충청권 미세먼지 수치를 오전 '보통', 오후 '한때 나쁨'으로 내다봤다.

Expected precipitation amounts are around 1mm for Seoul, Incheon, and Gyeonggi Province, less than 5mm for inland and mountainous areas of central and southern Gangwon Province, around 1mm for inland and mountainous areas of northern Gangwon Province, and around 1mm for northern Chungnam and central and northern Chungbuk.
Temperatures will be higher than average (normal morning low -92°C, daytime high 210°C). On the 16th, the morning low is expected to be -45°C and daytime high 514°C.
Morning lows in major regions are Seoul 3°C, Incheon 5°C, Suwon 2°C, Chuncheon -2°C, Gangneung 5°C, Cheongju 2°C, Daejeon 2°C, Jeonju 2°C, Gwangju 2°C, Daegu -1°C, Busan 4°C, and Jeju 8°C.

Icy roads and frozen road surfaces are expected to occur extensively in central inland and high mountainous areas of the south. The KMA urged caution regarding traffic safety.
The Daejeon, Sejong, and Chungnam regions will remain mostly overcast with less than 0.1mm of scattered rain drops falling from the afternoon. This may result in reduced visibility and icy road surfaces.
According to the Daejeon Regional Meteorological Administration, the Chungnam region will be affected by a pressure trough moving from the northwest sea of the West Sea to the East Sea. Daytime highs are forecast as Cheonan, Asan, Dangjin, and Taean 10°C, Sejong, Seosan, Gongju, Gyeryong, Geumsan, Yesan, and Cheongyang 11°C, Daejeon, Nonsan, Boryeong, Buyeo, Seocheon, and Hongseong 12°C.
The National Institute of Environmental Research forecast fine dust levels in the Chungcheong region as 'moderate' in the morning and 'temporarily bad' in the afternoon.
