(재)제천한방천연물산업진흥재단(이사장 최명현)은 11일 오후 4시 제천시 더그랜드컨벤션센터 3층 다이아몬드홀에서 '2025 제천한방천연물클러스터 총회'를 개최했다.
총회에는 제천한방천연물클러스터 기업회원 70여 개사 대표 및 임직원과 관내 천연물 관련 기관 관계자들이 참석했다. 행사는 2025년 지원사업 보고, 한방천연물 제품 연구개발(R&D) 지원사업 성과 발표, 2026년도 사업계획 보고 순으로 진행됐다.
충청북도 이동옥 행정부지사는 행사에 참석하여 제천 한방천연물 산업 발전을 지원하겠다는 의지를 표명했다. 이 부지사는 제천 한방천연물 산업을 충북 전략 산업으로 육성하는 데 도 차원의 지원을 지속하겠다고 밝혔다. 또한 2026년 글로컬 한방천연물산업 혁신사업 추진을 위한 예산 확보에 지속적인 관심을 두겠다고 덧붙였다.
시상식에서는 4개 기업이 수상했다. 박달재한방웰빙식품과 제천동산약초는 제천시장상을 받았으며, ㈜와이케이컴퍼니와 약초인은 제천시의회의장상을 수상했다.
올해 R&D 지원사업을 진행한 6개 기업은 신제품 개발 성과를 발표했다. 발표 제품은 자운 버터 세럼, 소화개선 기능성 효소제품, 아카시아꿀 한방티백차, 콜라겐 하이드로겔 마스크팩, 맥즙·홉 기반 쌍화차, 셀레늄 활용 숙취해소환이다.
최명현 (재)제천한방천연물산업진흥재단 이사장은 "2025년은 제천국제한방천연물산업엑스포를 개최한 해"라며 "기업들의 노력에 감사드리고 천연물 산업 발전을 위해 계속 노력하겠다"고 말했다.
김창규 제천시장은 "한방도시 제천이 한방천연물산업 중심지로 확립될 수 있도록 클러스터 회원사들의 참여를 기대한다"고 했다.

Approximately 70 companies participate, 2025 performance shared and 2026 business plans announced
The Jecheon Herbal and Natural Products Industry Promotion Foundation (Chairman Choi Myung-hyun) held the '2025 Jecheon Herbal and Natural Products Cluster General Meeting' at 4 p.m. on the 11th at the Diamond Hall on the 3rd floor of The Grand Convention Center in Jecheon City.
Approximately 70 company representatives and employees of Jecheon Herbal and Natural Products Cluster members and related agencies attended the meeting. The event proceeded in order of 2025 support project reports, herbal and natural products R&D support project results presentation, and 2026 business plan reports.
Vice Governor Lee Dong-ok of North Chungcheong Province attended the event and expressed his commitment to supporting the development of Jecheon herbal and natural products industry. The vice governor stated that North Chungcheong Province would continue to support fostering the herbal and natural products industry in Jecheon as a strategic industry. He added that the province would maintain continuous interest in securing budgets for implementing the 2026 Glocal Herbal and Natural Products Industry Innovation Project.
Four companies received awards at the awards ceremony. Baldaljae Herbal Wellness Food and Jecheon Dongsan Wild Herbs received the Jecheon Mayor's Award, while Y.K. Company and Herbal People received the Jecheon City Council Speaker's Award.
Six companies that conducted R&D support projects this year announced new product development results. The announced products are Ja-un Butter Serum, digestive improvement functional enzyme products, acacia honey herbal tea bags, collagen hydrogel face masks, malt and hop-based shwangwhcha, and selenium-based hangover relief pills.
Choi Myung-hyun, Chairman of the Jecheon Herbal and Natural Products Industry Promotion Foundation, said, "2025 was a year in which the Jecheon International Herbal and Natural Products Industry Expo was held," and added, "We appreciate the efforts of our companies and will continue to work for the development of the natural products industry."
Kim Chang-gyou, Mayor of Jecheon City, said, "We expect the participation of cluster member companies so that Jecheon, a herbal medicine city, can be established as a center of herbal and natural products industry."
