세종특별자치시교육청(교육감 권한대행 부교육감 구연희)은 세종특별자치시가족센터(센터장 하미용)와 협업해 12월 6일(토) 세종시 관내 영화관에서 '다문화가족 문화가 있는 날' 행사를 개최한다. 세종시교육청은 세종시 거주 62개 다문화 가정의 학생과 보호자 200여 명을 초청한다. 참가자들은 인기 애니메이션 '주토피아 2'를 함께 감상한다.

◆ 향후 계획

이강재 유초등교육과장은 "이번 행사가 다문화가족에게 편안한 쉼과 기쁨이 되는 시간이 되기를 바란다"고 말했다. 이어 "세종시교육청은 다문화가족이 교육공동체 속에서 서로의 문화를 존중하며 성장할 수 있도록 다양한 문화·교육 프로그램을 지속 지원하겠다"고 밝혔다. 세종시교육청은 앞으로도 교육공동체가 어우러지는 다양한 문화 체험 활동을 이어갈 계획이다.

Sejong Special Self-Governing City Office of Education (Acting Superintendent and Deputy Superintendent Ku Yeon-hee) will host the 'Multicultural Family Culture Day' event in cooperation with Sejong Special Self-Governing City Family Center (Director Ha Mi-yong) at a theater in Sejong City on Saturday, December 6. The Sejong City Office of Education invites about 200 students and guardians from 62 multicultural families residing in Sejong City. Participants will watch the popular animation 'Zootopia 2' together.

◆ Purpose of the Event

This event is a cultural experience program for multicultural families with diverse cultural backgrounds to gather in one space and strengthen emotional bonds between family members. Children develop curiosity and imagination through watching movies. The experience with parents provides an opportunity to build family memories.

Lee Kang-jae, Head of the Early Childhood and Elementary Education Division, said, "I hope this event will be a time of comfortable rest and joy for multicultural families."
