◆ 전의향토문화선양위원회, 수신제 첫 직접 주관

세종특별자치시 전의면과 전의향토문화선양위원회가 제21회 왕의물 축제를 성공적으로 마쳤다. 전의면(면장 송재숙)은 4일 축제 결과보고회를 개최했다고 밝혔다. 올해 축제는 5월 15일 한솔동 세종대왕 나신날 기념식 연계 사전 행사와 11월 7일 수신제로 진행됐다. 수신제는 11월 첫 번째 용의날에 전의초수 현지에서 열렸다. 전의향토문화선양위원회(위원장 염형택)가 외부인 대신 제례 행사를 직접 주관했다.

◆ 지역 인사 헌관 참여, 우리말 축문으로 의미 더해

김태관 전의면 이장협의회장, 고진국 전의농협조합장, 방용택 마을관리사회적기업협동조합 이사장이 헌관으로 참여했다. 세종대왕의 한글창제 정신을 기려 축문을 우리말로 작성했다. 의식 순서인 홀기도 우리말로 설명했다. 참가자 전원은 한복을 착용하고 제례에 참석했다. 초수솟음 기원 떡메치기, 전의 강강술래, 단심줄놀이 등 전통 프로그램도 운영했다.

◆ 5월 사전 행사, 판소리로 전의초수 역사 알려

5월 세종대왕 나신날 행사에서는 세종실록 '상송사목'을 유태평양의 판소리로 구현했다. 세종대왕과 전의면의 역사를 대중에게 알렸다. 송재숙 전의면장은 "이번 수신제는 지역 공동체 유대를 돈독히 하는 자리였다"며 "지역 특색을 담은 차별화된 축제로 발전시키겠다"고 밝혔다.

◆ Jeonui Cultural Heritage Committee Hosts Susinoje for First Time

Jeonui-myeon and Jeonui Cultural Heritage Promotion Committee in Sejong Special Self-Governing City successfully concluded the 21st Wang-ui-mul Festival. Jeonui-myeon Mayor Song Jae-suk announced the festival results report on December 4. This year's festival included a preliminary event linked to King Sejong's Birthday celebration in Hansol-dong on May 15 and the Susinoje ritual on November 7. The Susinoje was held at Jeonui Chosu spring site on the first Dragon Day of November. The Jeonui Cultural Heritage Promotion Committee, chaired by Yeom Hyeong-taek, directly organized the ritual instead of outside organizers.

◆ Local Leaders Participate as Ritual Officiants, Korean-Language Ritual Text Adds Significance

Kim Tae-gwan, head of Jeonui-myeon Village Chiefs Council, Ko Jin-guk, chief of Jeonui Agricultural Cooperative, and Bang Yong-taek, chairman of Village Management Social Enterprise Cooperative, participated as ritual officiants. The ritual text was written in Korean to honor King Sejong's Hangeul creation spirit. The ritual procedure guide was also explained in Korean. All participants wore traditional hanbok during the ceremony. Traditional programs included rice cake pounding for spring blessing, Jeonui Ganggangsullae, and Dansimjul rope game.

◆ May Preliminary Event Promotes Jeonui Chosu History Through Pansori

The May King Sejong Birthday event featured Yoo Tae-pyeongyang's pansori performance of 'Sangsong Samok' from the Annals of King Sejong. The performance introduced the history connecting King Sejong and Jeonui-myeon to the public. Mayor Song Jae-suk stated, "This Susinoje strengthened community bonds," adding, "We will continue developing this festival with distinct regional characteristics."
