◆ 제8회 건축문화상 공모 개최

태안군이 제8회 태안건축문화상 공모전을 개최한다. 신청 접수 마감은 12월19일. 태안건축문화상 제1회 개최는 2006년이며 당초 격년제였다. 2012년부터 3년 주기로 변경되었고 제7회 공모는 코로나19로 1년 연기되어 2022년 진행된 바 있다.

◆ 2022년11월~2025년10월 준공 건축물 대상 신청

공모 대상은 2022년11월1일부터 2025년10월31일까지 사용 승인된 관내 모든 건축물이다. 신청 방법은 60cm×90cm 규격 패널과 응모신청서를 12월19일까지 군 신속허가과에 제출하면 된다. 패널에는 건축개요·배치도·평면도·입면도·주단면도·교통동선계획도·조경계획을 표현할 수 있다. 제출 작품에 제출자를 인식할 수 있는 표시는 금지된다. 공모 분야는 주택·공공·기타 3개 분야다. 과거 수상작으로 천리포에코힐링센터, 영목항전망대, 태안군산림조합사옥 등이 있다.

◆ 2026년1월 심사...상패·표지판 수여

심사는 2026년1월 태안건축문화상심사위원회가 진행하며 우수작을 선정·발표한다. 수상자는 상패 및 우수건축물표지판을 받는다. 군 관계자는 "건전한 건축문화 조성과 미래지향적이면서도 실용적인 삶의 공간 창출로 아름다운 태안 건설에 기여하겠다"며 "관내 건축 관계자들의 많은 참여를 기대한다"고 말했다.

◆ Eighth Taean Architectural Culture Award Competition Held

Taean-gun is holding the eighth Taean Architectural Culture Award competition. Application submission deadline is December 19. The first Taean Architectural Culture Award was held in 2006 and was initially held biennially. The application method is to submit a panel measuring 60cm×90cm and an application form to the Rapid Permit Division of Taean-gun by December 19. Panels can express architectural overview, site plans, floor plans, elevations, main cross-sections, traffic flow plans, and landscape plans. Applicants cannot mark submitted works with any indication that identifies the submitter. The competition covers three categories: residential, public, and other facilities. Past award-winning buildings include Cheonripo Eco-Healing Center, Yeongmok Port Observatory, and Taean-gun Forest Cooperative Headquarters.

◆ Review in January 2026...Plaques and Signboards Awarded

Reviews will be conducted in January 2026 by the Taean Architectural Culture Award Review Committee, and outstanding works will be selected and announced. Award recipients will receive plaques and signboards for outstanding buildings. A Taean-gun official stated, "We will contribute to building a beautiful Taean through establishing sound architectural culture and creating future-oriented and practical living spaces," and added, "We look forward to active participation from architectural professionals within the district."
