◆ 당진시 오성환 시장이 11월 17일 충남도청에서 충남 김태흠 도지사, SK렌터카 이정환 대표이사, K-클라비스 자산운용 이정훈 대표, 민간시행사 윤승현 대표와 함께 총사업비 3,839억 규모 'K-모빌리티 오토허브 일반물류단지 조성 업무협약'을 체결했다. 당진시와 충남도는 항만 연계형 모빌리티 오토허브 조성을 통해 당진항만의 기능을 다각화할 계획이다.
◆ 당진시는 기업혁신파크 조성사업을 추진해오던 부지를 물류단지로 전환하기로 결정했다. 당진시, SK렌터카, 자산운용사, 민간시행사는 특수목적법인(SPC)을 설립해 모빌리티를 거점으로 한 물류단지 사업을 진행한다. 당진시와 충남도는 지역활성화 투자펀드를 활용한 사업 안정성 확보와 신속한 인허가 지원을 통해 행정적 뒷받침을 제공할 방침이다.

◆ 당진시는 이 사업을 통해 연간 8조 8천억의 경제 파급효과와 8,000명 규모의 직간접 인구 유입 효과가 발생할 것으로 예상했다. 연간 최대 35만 대의 모빌리티 물동량 처리로 당진항만의 경쟁력이 강화될 것으로 보인다.

◆ On November 17, Dangjin Mayor Oh Sung-hwan concluded a 'K-Mobility Auto Hub General Logistics Complex Development Business Agreement' worth 383.9 billion won at the Chungcheongnam-do Provincial Government Building with Chungcheongnam-do Governor Kim Tae-heum, SK Rent-a-Car CEO Lee Jung-hwan, K-Clavius Asset Management CEO Lee Jung-hoon, and private developer CEO Yoon Seung-hyun. Dangjin City and Chungcheongnam-do plan to diversify Dangjin Port's functions through the establishment of a port-linked K-mobility auto hub.
◆ Dangjin City decided to convert a site previously used for corporate innovation park development into a logistics complex. Dangjin City, SK Rent-a-Car, the asset management company, and the private developer will establish a Special Purpose Company (SPC) to operate the logistics complex centered on mobility. Dangjin City and Chungcheongnam-do will provide administrative support through regional revitalization investment funds to secure project stability and expedited permit processing.
◆ Dangjin City projects the project will generate an annual economic ripple effect of 8.8 trillion won and attract a direct and indirect population influx of 8,000 people. The annual processing of up to 350,000 mobility units is expected to strengthen Dangjin Port's competitiveness.
