보령시는 오는 20일부터 28일까지 의료기관 접근성이 낮은 7개 읍·면 지역주민을 대상으로 찾아가는 무료 건강검진을 실시한다.
올해 실시되는 마지막 이동검진으로, 읍·면 지역주민에게 검진 편의성을 제공하고 질병 조기 발견을 돕기 위해 인구보건복지협회 대전충남지회와 협약해 진행된다.
◆의료 접근성 낮은 7개 지역 이동검진
보령시는 20일부터 28일까지 의료기관 접근성이 낮은 7개 읍·면 지역주민을 대상으로 찾아가는 무료 건강검진을 실시한다. 올해 마지막 이동검진으로, 인구보건복지협회 대전충남지회와 협약해 진행된다. 검진 대상자는 20세 이상 홀수년도 출생자다. 일반건강검진과 위암·대장암·유방암·자궁경부암 등 국가건강검진 항목 외에도 충청남도 지원 전립선암 무료 검진도 받을 수 있다.
◆7개 지역 순회 검진 일정
검진 일정은 20일 주산보건지소, 21일 청라보건지소, 24일 남포면 주민자치센터, 25일 청소보건지소, 26일 성주보건지소, 27일 천북보건지소, 28일 웅천보건지소 순이다. 검진 시간은 오전 8시부터 11시 30분까지다. 검진 희망자는 신분증을 지참해 검진 장소로 방문하면 된다. 일반건강검진 및 위암 검진 대상자는 전날 오후 8시부터 금식해야 한다. 대장암 검진 대상자는 채변통에 전날 저녁이나 당일 아침 대변을 담아 제출하면 된다.
◆취약계층 암환자 의료비 지원
전경희 보건소장은 "질병을 조기 발견하고 치료할 수 있도록 올해 마지막 이동검진에 많은 참여를 부탁드린다"며 "연말에는 검진기관 혼잡이 예상되므로 빠른 시일 내 검진을 꼭 받아주시기를 바란다"고 당부했다. 보건소는 취약계층 암환자를 위한 의료비 지원사업을 추진하고 있다. 유방암 검진 후 유소견 결과 통보를 받으면 유방초음파 검진을 추가로 받을 수 있도록 검진비를 지원하고 있다. 자세한 내용은 보령시보건소 방문보건팀(041-930-5972)으로 문의하면 된다.

The health center is promoting a medical cost support project for vulnerable cancer patients. The center provides screening cost support for additional breast ultrasound screening if positive findings are reported after breast cancer screening.
