◆ 전국 최고 평가 달성

충북 진천군은 보건복지부가 주관한 '지역사회보장계획 시행결과 평가'에서 전국 243개 지자체 중 기초 지자체 226곳 가운데 '최우수 기관'으로 선정됐다. 진천군이 8일 발표했다. 이 평가는 지역 실정에 맞는 복지정책을 수립하고 추진한 성과를 종합 평가한다.

◆ 4년 연속 우수 성과

진천군은 2021년부터 매년 우수기관으로 선정돼왔다. 2023년 '최우수', 2024년 '대상'에 이어 올해 다시 '최우수' 기관으로 지정됐다. 군은 복지정책 체계적 이행과 군민 체감형 복지 구현 노력으로 높은 평가를 받았다. 9대 추진전략과 50개 세부 사업을 추진했다.

◆ 특화 정책 높은 점수 획득

지역사회통합돌봄 지원과 생거진천 케어팜 운영지원, 청소년 문화예술활동 지원 확대 정책이 높은 점수를 받았다. 강선미 군 주민복지과장은 "군민 삶의 질 향상을 최우선으로 추진한 복지정책이 실질적 성과로 이어졌다"며 "군민이 체감할 수 있는 현장 중심 복지행정을 강화하겠다"고 말했다.

◆ Achieves National Highest-Level Evaluation

Jincheon County, North Chungcheong, was selected as the 'Top-Tier Institution' among 226 basic local governments out of 243 local governments nationwide in the 'Regional Social Security Plan Implementation Results Evaluation' administered by the Ministry of Health and Welfare. Jincheon County announced this on the 8th. This evaluation comprehensively assesses the performance of welfare policies established and implemented to suit regional circumstances.

◆ Four Consecutive Years of Excellence

Jincheon County has been selected as an outstanding institution annually since 2021. Following selection as 'Top-Tier' in 2023 and 'Grand Prize' in 2024, the county received the 'Top-Tier Institution' designation again this year. The county received high evaluation for systematic implementation of welfare policies and efforts to realize citizen-centered welfare. The county promoted nine major strategic initiatives and 50 detailed projects.

◆ Specialized Policies Earn High Scores

Policies including support for community-integrated care, operational support for the Saenggeo Jincheon Care Farm, and expansion of youth cultural and art activity support received high scores. Kang Sun-mi, Director of Resident Welfare Division, stated, "The welfare policies pursued with citizen quality of life improvement as the top priority have resulted in tangible outcomes," and added, "The county will strengthen field-centered welfare administration that residents can feel firsthand."
