◆ 영화로 장애 이해 높인다

단양교육지원청(교육장 나광수)은 11월 27일 충청북도 북부권(단양, 제천, 충주) 학교 관리자 대상 통합교육 연수를 운영했다. 연수 주제는 "영화를 통해 장애를 이야기하다"다. 충북특수교육원이 제작하고 부산 국제장애인 인권 영화제에서 금상을 수상한 교육용 영화 "숨은 영웅: DEMIAN"을 시청한 뒤 토크 콘서트 형식으로 진행했다.

이번 연수는 장애에 대한 올바른 이해를 높이고 학교 내 관리자의 포용적 리더십을 강화하기 위해 기획됐다. 학교 관리자 대상 공론의 장을 마련해 모든 학생이 다양성과 차이를 존중받는 교육환경을 조성하는 데 목표를 두고 있다. 영화 시청 이후 참석 관리자들의 의견 수렴으로 통합교육에 대한 공감대 형성에 집중했다.

나광수 교육장은 "통합교육의 성공은 학교 관리자의 이해와 리더십에서 출발한다"며 "모든 학생이 존중받고 안전하게 배움에 참여할 수 있는 학교 환경을 만들기 위해 앞으로도 지속적으로 관리자 연수를 확대해 나갈 것"이라고 밝혔다.

The Danyang Office of Education (Superintendent Na Kwang-soo) conducted integrated education training for school administrators in the Chungcheongbuk-do Northern region (Danyang, Jecheon, Chungju) on November 27. The training theme was "Talking About Disability Through Film." The training proceeded with a screening of the educational film "Hidden Heroes: DEMIAN," produced by the Chungbuk Institute of Special Education and a gold prize winner at the Busan International Human Rights Film Festival for the Disabled, followed by a talk concert format.

The training was planned to enhance correct understanding of disability and strengthen inclusive leadership among school administrators. The program aimed to create a forum for school administrators to establish consensus on inclusive education, where all students experience an environment respecting diversity and differences. Following the film screening, the training focused on forming shared understanding of inclusive education through collecting opinions from attending administrators.
